My life is an awkward visit from the kid's table |
Hey, I'm Chris Paul Colfer. You may know me because I played the part of Kurt on the set of Glee, or perhaps you just heard of my love for diet coke and decided to see if it was true (Harry, I don't have a problem....) I have a quick wit, but stay on my good side and I promise you'll never get to harshly burned. I'm seventh in line for the British crown - just get me drunk and I'm sure I can explain this. My Chewbacca backpack is my friend! I'm currently filming a reality TV show with my amazing Glee cast and the Vampire Diaries cast. It will be... interesting. Oh, and I'm exactly like a llama. [[RP account. Nope, not Chris Colfer. I just think he's awesome.]] |
Sorry guys, college has been killed. End of this week and I’m free so I promise to be on more.
Lea, stunning as usual, and you look amazing as well, Kevin.

Anonymous asked: Hypothetically, if a lion and a shark were to conceive a child, would the world end?
I have no idea anon. Maybe? Probably not though.

Sooo.. Is someone gonna join the ‘party’!?
Party? What party?
A little dancing party in the living room, not much. Everyone was supposed to come but there’s only me and Amber there!
Oh and, by the way, Hi Chris!! ;-)
Hey, Cory xD And sounds like fun. I’ll see if I can drag Dare along. We’ll be there in a bit.

Darren stared across the table at Chris, his hands settled awkwardly on the edge of the table because, seriously, what was he supposed to do with them? He blinked once as Chris laughed, cocking his head slightly and shifting in his chair until his back hit the cushioned support. Darren shrugged and glanced around the restaurant again, trying to gauge his interest. “I don’t know…I guess in general.” The longer he looked, though, the less he felt particularly attracted to anyone other than…maybe one waiter standing a few tables out into the middle of the floor. Darren looked back at Chris, though, and almost immediately felt that awkward tension roll back over his body. He almost snorted when Chris brought up the People’s Sexiest Men Alive, vaguely wondering if he’d ever live that down—Starkid would surely never let him live it down. “It’s not being judged that bothers me,” Darren mumbled, finally reaching for his fork to pick at his food. “But…yeah, this is why I wanted to talk to Joey.”
He stayed quiet as he ate, though, avoiding looking up at Chris as much as he could. It was one thing to hesitantly come out to his friends who he knew so well and loved so much, and that love was returned so unquestionably. It was actually…easy. Even when he was still uncertain, it was easy to just come out and say it as if he had drank five hard-alcoholic drinks that day. Their opinions wouldn’t change. But this was different. This was difficult and a little bit scary, even though he knew Chris would be right there with his Starkid family, never judging him. Darren finally looked up, nodding after a moment of hesitation. “I don’t know it that well—I’ve only been here on a couple of visits before. I wouldn’t expect a grand tour or anything, but I can show you the places I’m familiar with.”
Chris took a sip of diet coke, watching Darren examine the room. He claimed to be bi, but didn’t really find any of the guys attractive. Someone must have made Dare realize he could be bi. Probably a specific person. So who could it have been? Darren was sharing a room with Mark, so that was always a possibility. Chris couldn’t really see Dare as the kind of guy who went for a guy like Mark, but there was always the possibility. He really shouldn’t judge. Most people didn’t realize they were bi or gay without realizing they had a general attraction or realizing they liked a specific person. Darren didn’t seem to find any of the guys here attractive, though Chris could easily point out a few he’d consider handsome, so Dare must have fallen for someone.
“So,” Chris asked with a grin, spinning his straw around his drink, “What’s your type? And don’t laugh, I’m honestly curious.” He could tell he was making Darren uncomfortable, which surprisingly made him grin and made him feel bad at the same time. He was glad that Darren trusted him enough to come out to him. They had become really close on the set of glee and it was nice to know they were still as close as ever. He quickly added “I’m glad you got to talk it out with Joey. So, the city? You know more places than I do. The only time I was here was the concert and a few interviews. I’ve spent the majority of my life in LA, so the fact that we get to travel so much now a days is really great.”

That sounds like an excellent plan. Want accompaniment?

Dare and I are actually in the states for Thanksgiving! (We’re flying back to Spain tomorrow) We’re going to go try and hunt down some turkey now, so wish us luck.
